The Myth of Normal: An Art Exhibit to Challenge Your Perceptions • FEATURING FELIPE ORTIZ What does it mean to be normal? In our society, there are many expectations and pressures to conform to certain norms. But what happens when we don't fit in? What happens when we're different? The Myth of Normal is a new art exhibit at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design that explores the ways in which societal norms can be harmful and encourages visitors to express themselves authentically. The exhibit features a variety of mediums, including sculpture, painting, and video, from artists who challenge the status quo and offer new perspectives on what it means to be normal.
