A Community Activiation Series
What is Eastie Rising?
Eastie Rising is a vibrant series of temporary public art installations and community events taking place throughout East Boston in 2025.
Developed by artist Felipe Ortiz, this project transforms underutilized spaces into dynamic platforms for cultural expression, creativity, and connection. Each activation is designed to engage local residents, celebrate East Boston’s rich Latino and immigrant heritage, and foster dialogue through art.

When: Sat, June 21st, 2 PM – 8 PM
Join us for the launch of Eastie Rising with a high-energy community celebration at 172 Condor Street. The afternoon will feature live mural painting, music, food, and immersive public art. Come through for good vibes, local flavor, and interactive experiences that welcome everyone to be part of the creative energy.
