EASTIE RISING: A Community Activation Series

Eastie Rising is a vibrant series of temporary public art installations and community events taking place throughout East Boston in 2025. Developed by artist Felipe Ortiz, this project transforms underutilized spaces into dynamic platforms for cultural expression, creativity, and connection. Each activation is designed to engage local residents, celebrate East Boston’s rich Latino and immigrant heritage, and foster dialogue through art.
